MarCas Code ("we", "us", "our") operates the LatencyRadar service (the "Service").

2. What Data We Collect
2.1 Test Data
When you run a latency test, we store:
- The target URL
- HTTP method
- Custom headers (if provided)
- Timing metrics (DNS, TLS, connect, TTFB, download, total)
- Status codes and error types
- Test mode (preview or full)
- Test timestamps
We do not store:
- Response bodies
- API response content
- Cookies returned by the target server
You are responsible for ensuring you are authorized to test the endpoint.
2.2 Technical & Usage Data
When you use the Service, we may collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type
- Operating system
- Referrer information
- Interaction events (see below)
This data is used to maintain service security and stability.
2.3 Product Analytics (PostHog)
We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used and to improve functionality.
Events we track may include:
- Preview test started
- Preview test completed
- Upgrade clicked
- Checkout started
- Payment completed
- Payment failed
- Rate limit triggered
We do not send:
- Full target URLs with sensitive query parameters
- Authorization headers
- Response data
- API keys
PostHog may process:
- IP address (may be truncated or anonymized)
- Device and session information
- Event metadata related to Service usage
Analytics are used strictly for product improvement and service monitoring.
2.4 Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe.
We do not store:
- Credit card numbers
- Full payment details
Stripe may collect and process personal data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process personal data based on:
- Legitimate interest (service functionality, security, analytics)
- Contract performance (when you purchase a full analysis)
- Legal obligations (if required by law)
4. Data Retention
We retain test data for operational and diagnostic purposes.
Retention periods may vary but are limited to what is reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the Service
- Prevent abuse
- Improve system performance
Test data is retained for up to 30 days unless a shorter retention period is required for operational or legal reasons.
We may delete test data periodically.
Analytics data retention is managed through PostHog according to configured retention policies.
5. Data Sharing
We may share data with:
- Stripe (payment processing)
- PostHog (analytics)
- Hosting providers (VPS infrastructure)
We do not sell personal data.
We do not share data for advertising purposes.
6. International Data Transfers
Some service providers (such as Stripe or PostHog Cloud) may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Where applicable, appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with GDPR.
